Advanced Maneuvers

-
Experience the various demonstration stalls
Session Details
Emergencies come in many different forms, and every once in a while there is an urgent need to get out of the sky as fast as possible. Reasons for an emergency descent may be fire, loss of pressurization, or an ill/injured passenger. This goal is accomplished by executing an emergency descent. This maneuver will allow the pilot to shed altitude without incurring an excessive buildup in speed.
This session will also allow the instructor to cover what the FAA considers "demonstration stalls". These demonstration stalls are :
-
Cross-Control Stalls
-
Elevator-Trim Stalls
-
Secondary Stalls
-
Accelerated Maneuver Stalls.
These are stalls which are not going to be on the FAA practical checkride, yet are good for students to have experienced. They are not to be practiced by the students, but are only to be demonstrated by the instructor.
